Denver Broncos Brandon Marshall gets dropped by sponsor for kneeling

Air Academy Federal Credit Union, which mostly serves members of the military and their families, announced on social media Friday that it was ending its five-month relationship with Marshall. "While we respect Brandon's right of expression, his actions are not a representation of our organization and membership. We wish Brandon well on his future endeavors," the company said. The statement was signed by AAFCU President and CEO Glenn Strebe. The announcement came a day after Marshall knelt during the anthem at the NFL opener between the Broncos and Carolina Panthers. If only 10% of Americans were willing to boycott the NFL and its financial interests this BS would stop before the end of the week.

[ In Reply To ..]A venue where minorities are probably the majority, or at the very least certainly over-represented as a percentage of the population, where people are paid huge sums strictly on the basis of their abilities and not the color of their skin, where most of the athletes - including minorities - received free college educations, and for whom there will be very lucrative opportunities awaiting most them at the end of their NFL careers.
This is not the place to take advantage of people who come to enjoy a sporting event and pay the high prices that wind up in your pockets, and who then must endure the disgusting spectacle of your petulant, distasteful disrespect for the nation that has given you so very much, and in a venue where you are valued equally with every other person on the field - as an individual with special talents, and without any regard to race.

Sportswear companies (Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Under Armor), beer companies (Budweiser, Coors, Miller), airlines (United, Delta, American), credit card companies (Visa, AMEX, MasterCard), beverage companies (Coke, Pepsi), pizza stores (Dominoes, Little Cesar, Papa John’s), ad infinitum are where the NFL and it’s players make their money. Boycott them all without exception. Hold onto your money a dry up their source if income and see how quickly this crap ends.
We are not helplessness. Nobody is going to die if the NFL goes bankrupt. The NFL, players, owners and advertisers need us (our money) but we don’t need them.
