The republicans hated the Clintons so much that they were "investigating" them all the time.

They finally found a PERSONAL reason to impeach him.

It's the very same thing they're doing with President Obama, sans the libido problems so that they can impeach Obama also.

It's just what the republicans DO to people who disagree with them. If they can't destroy them with propaganda during election season, then they find a bogus reason to impeach them after they've been duly elected by the majority of the people.

What really CRACKS ME UP is that Newt Gingrich was very instrumental in impeaching Clinton at the VERY SAME TIME he was cheating on HIS wife, who was in the hospital dying at the time.

The republicans did not "hate" Clinton. Whenever republicans disagree with democrats democrats claim "hate", yet when it's a republican president in democrats claim they "disagree". The republicans were not investigating them "all the time". Do you have any proof to back up your allegation?

It wasn't a personal reason why they impeached him. Were you even around during the impeachment process? It was because he lied. So what if he had an affair, that was not the issue. The issue was he abused his position and he lied to a grand jury. With 2/3 majority (not all republican's by the way), he was convicted on Article I, and charged that the President "...willfully provided perjurious, false and misleading testimony to the grand jury" and made "...corrupt efforts to influence the testimony of witnesses and to impede the discovery of evidence" in the Paula Jones lawsuit, the President was found not guilty with 45 Senators voting for the President's removal from office and 55 against. Ten Republicans split with their colleagues to vote for acquittal; all 45 Democrats voted to acquit. On Article II, charging that the President "...has prevented, obstructed, and impeded the administration of justice"..., the vote was 50-50, with all Democrats and five Republicans voting to acquit.

There's is more to it than just the dress and cigar. He lied. Plain and simple...lied under oath.

Billy was (and still is) a pathological liar (along with his wife). Guess it runs in the family.

Nobody is doing anything to impeach Obama on personal reasons. There is nothing he has done in his life personally deserving of impeachment. Get a grip!

You really don't want to go down the road of what democrats do to republicans who disagree with them now, do you. If so we will talk about the latest scandals going on. And that's only the tip of the iceburg.

And you really don't want to go down the road of trying to destroy a political "enemy" (per Obama's words) during an election season. You will fail on that discussion.

The difference between Newt Gingrich and Bill Clinton is that Newt was not the president and Newt did not lie under oath. BIG difference.
