Blocked tear duct

Has anyone had this problem? Just been diagnosed in one eye. Only have upper punctum as lower closed many years ago for dry eyes. Now having the opposite problem with continuous tearing running down cheeks. I know of one person who had surgery for this problem, but it did not work.

[ In Reply To ..]My daughter had this problem as a young child in one eye. She also had the constant tearing but it was worse when she was outside. She had the surgery one time and it did not work. This was when she was 2. She had it a second time and it was successful. She is now 19 and has never had any more problems.
