White pants

My apologies in advance to anyone who does this, but I really hate to see women wearing sheer enough white pants that you can see their undies through the material.

we saw at the beach a few weeks ago with an almost sheer white "dress" on and what appeared to be no underwear. If attention is what she was after, she certainly achieved her goal.

Here is my feelings....you are supposed to wear beige or tan undies when you wear white. I for one have found that everytime I wear white or khaki you see panty lines. I tend to go commando and believe me, you would never know it or I would not do it. Want to wear white tonight but, ahem, time of the month, so will wear something else.

But isn't that why they invented the thong? - So commando was not necessary?

Although past the age of having to worry about it, I hear you about those times when white is just a dice roll I didn't want to make, but I just never was comfortable commando. The thong made it possible to avoid panty lines and still feel 'covered'.

Maybe I just wasn't buying the right size. I still have some, and have lost quite a bit of weight....maybe I will give it a try again...maybe! I really don't mind being commando but would never do it in a dress/skirt. I don't own anything short-short, but never know when a strong breeze might kick in! Photo-op waiting to happen, if there was someone that actucally wanted to take my pic. and I don't see that happening! lol!

This made me smile because years ago when I worked in a hospital we had to wear white uniforms. I was going to the tanning salon regularly, and I wore white lace underwear under my white uniform pants. The white against my tan skin under the thin material of the pants really made the lace pattern show up. The head supervisor of Medical Records and the business office nicely told me "Christine, do you know you can see your underwear?" We had a chuckle about it, but I never wore the lace undies again to work! I can't believe I walked around all day like that. I even had a part-time job and walked a few blocks in center city to work after I parked my car!! LOL! Come to think of it . . I kinda remember some horn blowing!

I bought them for years - but they don't make them anymore - and Lee casual pants are just not the same - has anybody found anything comparable to the Riders by Lee that was sold at Walmart and K-mart? The Lee brand doesn't fit the same and the black ones I bought are stiff and stuff clings to them so they never look nice. ...
