Thanks to all who replied with what they are thankful for. I wish nore had taken me up on my little game, but I appreciate all who replied. It does make me kind of sad, though, that there were over 80 views of my post and only 3 posters answered....not for me personally, but because I had so hoped we could take our minds off our problems for a while and really focus on the things in our lives that make life worth living.

I hope everyone had a very blessed Thanksgiving, had a nice warm house in which to spend it with people that they love and a table spread with food that would impress a king. :o)

Thankful - Christine

I thank God every day for keeping my stepfather strong, and for our little Tiny (dog) and Morry (parrot). Tiny is 11 years old, and we almost lost her twice in 2011. Thank God she is stabilized, although with Cushing's. She is still playful and spent Thanksgiving Day with us at my sister's. She was just as good as gold. My stepfather took Morry to the senior center last week where she was in a talent contest. I went up front to "rescue" my stepfather by singing to Morry. Morry threw her little head back and started singing and the audience went wild. My stepfather was so proud and hasn't stopped telling people about Morry, and how I helped him. That's a lot to be thankful for!

Thankful - Brandy

I am thankful for God and his wonderful bible this season and everyday. I am thankful for my beautiful children, my husband, and a wonderful family to love, support, and care for each and every day.

All the black Friday sales and thanksgiving turkey can't beat the love of your family and the peace the Lord can give you each day if you would just open up and let him in.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Bring on the Christmas season.

So much to be thankful for - yochana

I am thankful for my Lord Jesus who watches over me day and night, who supplies my every need.

I am thankful for the strength that the Lord blessed me, Mom, and sister with so that we were able to take care for our blind (after multiple strokes) Dad/husband at home until the Lord called him home this summer. It was the greatest privilege I have ever had.

I am thankful the Lord blessed me with 8 months of unemployment so I could spend every moment with Dad during his last days on earth.

I am thankful for 2 of the best sisters, my wonderful Mother, and all my wonderful inlaws.

I am thankful for a wonderful MTSO to work for.

I am thankful to live in the USA - still the best nation where we have so much freedom.

I am thankful for my 14 aunts and uncles, 35 cousins and 50+ second cousins whom I dearly love. We love and respect one another and live in harmony with each other.

I am thankful for my health, my vision and my hearing.

I am thankful for my friends here on MTStars.

That was beautiful! N/M - Christine

for part of the pipeline.  Regardless of how he feels about continued use of oil for energy, he's gotta admit that it will at least put Americans to work....and God knows we need that.  However, I still don't get why he talks about green energy and opposed this pipeline for the longest time before agreeing to it....when he funded off shore drilling in Brazil.  I guess I don't get the double standard there.  We give aid to Brazil for drilling and yet Obama seems ...

I'm a single mom trying to make ends meet.  I live paycheck to paycheck.  Here lately I've had money issues because of car problems that needed to be fixed, necessary wiring and plumbing repairs in my house, etc.  I do good to get my bills paid and put food on the table.  A couple of weeks ago, my church brought me some groceries because of a comment my daughter made at children's church about us not having much money.  Then I went to a Christmas party thi ...
