Interesting Theory

Posted: Jun 24, 2011

Chloroform was cause of death with the intention of just putting Caylee to sleep.  Accidental death.  Duct tape placed after death with plan to blame the fictional Zanny the Nanny.

All relatives now trying (and lying) to get her off.

It was an accident, but not as benign as a drowning.

Not judging.  Just think it is an interesting and conceivable possibility.

Regarding Casey's behavior afterward.  I think maybe she was doing things to "forget." Again, not defending her, not judging her, just saying, with her alleged shallowness and obvious lack of preparedness for a child, this might not be surprising.

just to be clear, this is not MY theory - on HLN

I just thought it was a conceivable and interesting theory. If a child gets in a pool and drowns, normally parents are held responsible, so there would be no real need to cover up.

However, if a child is intentially drugged that resulted in death, that would necessitate punishment; hence, the chain of events that followed.

This theory makes more sense to me than premeditated murder.

just wanted ya'll to give ME credit for this theory lol ;-)

Saw that theory by Leonard Padilla on JVM - Anthony's are taking the fall.

[ In Reply To ..]
Anthony family is comprised of skunks, rats, weasels and snakes.

Leonard Padilla has been right all along about the family. Tim Miller who conducted the massive search said the same thing about them.

The next step is for George to get on the stand and deny sexually molesting Casey but in an unbelievable manner according to Padilla.

The Anthony family are taking the jurors for fools. Hopefully they keep their focus on the facts of the case and not the sideshow the Anthony family is putting on now to save their evil Casey.

I watched the courtroom drama after the jury was excused today. The judge is already discussing different verdicts other than 1st degree murder, lesser verdicts, manslaughter and such. I would not count on the death penalty about now. IMO NEITHER side has totally PROVEN anything. We all know she did it, but we don't know for sure how and nobody has proven it beyond a reasonable doubt. I'll bet she gets a prison term, but not the death penalty...at least at this point, and unless something changes drastically in the next week. The defense plans on resting its case by the end of next week. Deliberations will be over the weekend of July 4th.
This has been my theory on and off for years. - Here is what I SM

learned over the past weeks. One of the charges is AGGRAVATED child abuse (a felony). If a child dies because of this, it becomes felony murder, which is first degree murder. An example would be someone robbing a bank (a felony). In the course of this robbery, someone dies. It becomes felony murder, first degree murder. I do think that she used chloroform on Caylee because she had no one to babysit and she had a date with Tony that night. No way was she not going to keep that date because of her daughter. I have read on another site a few posts by an anesthesiologist, who says that there is no way she could have been using chloroform on a regular basis, it is deadly, especially in the hands of a nonprofessional. I think she used this one time, and Caylee overdosed. She panicked, did all of the things that have been brought out by the prosecution, duct taped to stage a kidnapping if the body was found. How could she tell the truth. What would she say? "Oh, I used chloroform on her to knock her out"? Another thought. If it was a drowning accident like the defense says, why would she sit in jail for 3 years? No way would she do that. She is too self absorbed. Just my thoughts.
Makes more sense than anything else IMO (nm) - on HLN (OP)

too easy.... - tanya

To easy to say "accident". Every adult knows very well that chloroforming or "playing doctor" and medicating a child is potentially deadly to the child. There is a difference between an "accident" and just not caring that your actions could be fatal. Casey appears to have at least reasonable intelligence, so she knew better. And if she claims she was NOT chloroforming that child? How can that be? Her own parents say that long before the child ever went missing that Casey regularly claimed she was leaving her with Zanny the Nanny, while at the same times, her friends say she would show up alone and claim the baby was with the nanny. So where WAS the baby at those times? That's the really blood-curdling part---that she was using chloroform as a babysitter and leaving that poor child alone while she partied. So horrible. No, such actions should not be called an "accident".

Buttery Cat TheoryDec 07, 2009
INTERESTING SCIENTIFIC THEORY:  "We all know that when a cat is dropped, it always lands on its feet; and when toast is dropped, it always lands with the buttered side facing down. Therefore, if buttered toast is strapped to the back of a cat, when dropped, the two will hover, spinning inches above the ground, probably into eternity. A "buttered-cat array" could replace pneumatic tires on cars and trucks, and "giant buttered-cat arrays" could easily allow a high-speed monorail linking New ...

Getting To The Root Of The Akin Theory...smAug 24, 2012
This one is just for fun. Hubby came home and told me about Willke having a connection with Nazi German experiments, so I found this: Mecklenburg's article was one of 19 in a book called "Abortion and Social Justice," published a year before the U.S. Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision. In supporting his claim about trauma and ovulation, Mecklenburg cited experiments conducted in Nazi death camps. The Nazis tested this hypothesis "by selecting women who were about to ovulate ...

A Little Science On Conspiracy Theory BelieversMay 06, 2011
To sum up the article:  "We found that in their search for explanations under such uncertain and confusing conditions, people rely partly on projection -- the assumption that others would behave much as they would." *** Some of the truths I have learned in my life:  It seems like the ones who "squawk" the loudest are the ones who have the most guilt or are hiding something.  Also, the person who most emphatically tells me "I would never do that" is most likely the same pers ...

Another Theory By Guest Prosecuting LawyerJun 25, 2011
There were guests on special show on Fox News last night debating what the jury would do and how they would respond to the Anthony family tears.  One guest who was a defense attorney said it will come down to forensics. This led another guest, who is prosecutor to say, athough it may not be right, what the jury will remember is Casey partying, shopping, getting a tattoo immediately after the child's death, the jailhouse tapes where she continued ...

I've Been Wondering About The Conspiracy Theory Mindset.Feb 06, 2013
And found some interesting info from a fairly recent study about it. Belief in Conspiracies Linked to Machiavellian Mindset Know any conspiracy theorists? No doubt they’ve tried to convince you that man didn’t really land on the moon or President Obama was born in Kenya. In fact, they were imparting genuinely interesting information — about themselves. New research suggests belief in such theories may reveal a Machiavellian mindset. “At least ...
