I hope everyone in its path stays safe for the next couple of days. We are as prepared as we can be, now just have to wait it out here in New England.

for you and everyone else in the path. I live far away from it, but am worried about my family, friends, and fellow MTs on the East Coast.

It's starting to accumulate here but the plows are out there doing their thing! Got some homemade chicken soup on the stove and we're just hanging out and hoping for power as long as possible!

Michigan and we got 11 inches. I hear they are getting a couple feet or more there on the East Coast. Good luck to all of you and stay safe.

The only thing I noticed today were really dark gray clouds but a typical February day, sorta cool. I have the weather channel on, aware of what others are going through and will go through with Nemo. I was thinking, if it had to come, best to come on a Friday night when people could be off the streets not having to try to go to work and be in the weekend. I hope people do not lose heat but have heard possibility of losing up to 3 days worth. My thoughts are with others going through this.

As of now (11:43 pm), if I were to step into my front yard, the snow would be at knee to mid thigh level, here in eastern NY.

we were looking at the Doppler radar earlier, and it was a sea of white. The entire state of NY is getting hit, and we're getting hammered here in CT.

I've got about 2 feet here and lots of drifts. Never lost power. There's a driving ban until noon (I think). I'm going to wait an hour or two before trying to dig out my car. Someone is snowblowing my driveway as I speak. I don't want to go out there. I'm warm and snug inside and have no where to go anyway.

My 3 cats are beside themselves because they want to go out. My Mickey, who I think is part polar bear and goes out in any weather, stood at the door to be let out; and when I cracked the door a little, he just stood there and look, then turned around and walked away. He's not stupid.
