Gratitude in action
Gratitude is more than saying thank you. The real power of gratitude comes from making meaningful and valuable use of those things for which you are thankful.
It’s nice to be appreciative. It’s even better to put that appreciation into action by being creative and productive.
Life is overwhelmingly abundant. The way to enjoy and benefit from that abundance is by putting it to purposeful use.
In this place, in this moment, you are a vital steward of life’s great abundance. You have the opportunity, and the responsibility, of transforming that abundance into unique value.
Whatever may be going on in your world, be truly thankful for it. And then put that gratitude into action by making a positive difference.
Life’s goodness is not meant to be hidden away and hoarded. Life’s goodness is best used for making even more.

[ In Reply To ..]This is a forum for medical transcriptionists. It's not just a forum to discuss MT stuff. People post recipes, stories, problems, poems, pet advise, anything and everything they want, INCLUDING a "have a nice day" tweet. The poster can post anything she wants.
You say what she wrote is not "relevant". Relative to what? There are discussion about just about everything on this forum. They have nothing to do with "MT". Read the rules for posting.
You have no right to tell him/her not to post again. That is not your place/decision. That is up to the moderator and particularly there was nothing wrong with her post. If you don't like what someone posts then skip over it. Pretty simple concept really. Took you more time to spread negative energy than if you had just skipped it.

At Lenie, what I am is an MT who frequents the boards, too. Just as there is room for pervasive negativity on these boards, there is room for positivity on the GAB BOARD....

[ In Reply To ..]I never have framed my philosophy in quite such eloquent terms, but the effect is the same. No matter how bad things get, there is always something to be grateful for. In expressing my gratitude by doing something nice for other people, I hope that maybe I might spread a message of positivity in what so often seems to be a negative world. It seems to work for me. Life without envy, covetousness, and anger is just so much more serene!
