As I type, his toys are in the washer. I will probably donate them for the homeless people, as our church has a mission for that, and I know many many of the homeless have pets and live in tents near this Southwest city where we live. Sammy absolutely adored every one of his toys. We lived in a big house where he could run round and round in a circle from the living room to the hot tub room to the piano/computer room to the hallway and back to the living room. He would be taking his toys for a walk, or that is the only sense I could make of it. All the while he would be making high-pitched sounds of joy because he loved, loved each and every toy. And no, we are not rich because we had a hot tub! When we moved here to retire, rent was extraordinarily high and we opted to buy a home. Hubby is ex-military and qualified for a VA loan without a down payment, so the house just fell into our lap. But, after doing some thinking after living there for four years, we sold the house and moved into a much smaller apartment in anticipation of finding a house in the country with a little land and are still looking for that.
