as other groups of immigrants in exchange for border security. They REJECTED IT. This is what Reagan did in exchange for amnesty. Democrats were supposed to secure the border in the 80s and even had funding for it. They never held up their end of the bargain and here we are in 2020 with the same problem.

Democrats rejected offers from Senate Republicans for border security legislation with an immigration fix that excluded a path to citizenship on more than one occasion.

It seems clear that Democrats want open borders.
