I don't know what it's going to take to make you understand that the term "open borders" is being bandied about essentially as propaganda to make Dems look bad. No one is saying we want to remove guards, fences, checkpoints, etc., etc., and are saying "just come on in everybody." That would be insane. Some want to decriminalize illegal entry by changing it to a civil offense (with consequences) rather than a criminal penalty (also with consequences). It's basically only a change in terminology with slightly different consequences. No one is going to get off free. The term "open borders" is being misused.
