This woman is 92 years old. Interestingly, she didn't start painting until she was 89! I've only recently met her, but apparently, she had something in her that was bubbling to the surface, and she gave it a shot.

She finds water a little bit limiting for her style of what she wants to paint, but she has figured it out so she can continue doing what she loves. She is using water paint pencils. The shade is determined by how long she leaves the pencil in water.

I commend her for being open minded to trying a new medium in her limited space in her bed. She is for sure in a funk (who wouldn't be?), but found a way to make the best of her situation. She is so happy to show me her latest masterpiece when I come to visit.
