From OP - Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for the advice on what to say. I do believe this will give her hope so she has something to look forward to. Rather than quote (I don't want it to sound rehearsed), I'll word it matter of factly, that He will wipe the tears from her eyes and she will be in a peaceful place. Fortuntely, her pain is well managed on medications, something that sets hospice apart from stringent regulations in a medical healthcare setting.

Thank you so very much for your kind words to me. I certainly know way too many people who go to church and talk a big game, but then go out and do not nice things. I wouldn't expect most people to be able to volunteer for hospice, but I expect everyone to treat one another kindly. If one does want to volunteer for a cause---hospice is not for everyone---there are many, many causes out there and I do believe there is something for everyone who wishes to serve.

I am still open to all suggestions. It's so hard to come up with something on the fly! I don't always know what she is going to come out with, so I can use all the suggestions I can get. Thanks so very much.
