If your heart isn't being torn apart thinking about her being gone, then you didn't do your job. I'm sure she is filled with your love. Heck, I can see your love right here on this page. I wasn't able to have biological children, but we did adopt siblings from our state foster care system. We had to go through foster parent training first, where we were taught that if it doesn't cause you excruciating pain to let the foster child move on to wherever they needed to be, you hadn't done your job properly. So instead of feeling (always) sad about the idea of her leaving, try to feel PROUD in the fact that you (mostly alone) have given her every tool she needs to make it in life, as well as the ability to love. I doubt she will forget about you!!!
