Prayers for holidays - something I know some of you deal with as well....sm - Broken hearted

I don't know if my 20 year old will show up for Christmas or not.  Since they started hanging around with the wrong crowd and doing drugs I don't see/hear from her much.  We always have a huge family gathering for Christmas Eve with parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. and this year I'm dreading going and either having people ask where she is if she doesn't show up or ask why she looks horrible and sunken.  She refuses help for her addiction and is mostly homeless by choice.  I wish I could Rip Van Winkle through the holidays!  All I can do is pray for her before she ends up dead from her choices and pray for guidance and to not break down in a massive pool of tears at the family gathering  - which I really don't want to to but will catch "family grief" if I don't show up.  I think I'd rather have surgery without anesthesia.
