I guess people believe what they want to believe, even though there is evidence to the contrary! How would you like it if I said YOUR beliefs were "hogwash?" not too happy, huh? Most of these microwaveable foods are contained in some type of plastic containers and plastic and microwaves are not compatible. You may think you are healthy .... now... but time will tell. Good luck to the lady who wants one. I can understand your reasons for the uses you want, and the micro should be fine for those things. Just be careful.
