The number one reason I am buying one is because I am buying these heating pads for pets. You microwave the pad and it stays warm for up to 10 hours.

#2 reason is I would like to heat up some cat food that is in the fridge over night so that it's not too cold on their tummy's.

#3 reason is I like to melt butter, heat up leftovers, and other little things like that.

#4 reason is someone is home while I'm at work and they do not cook, yet they can put a couple burritos or a cup of soup in to heat up.

I know all about molecules and so forth. Heard it for years. I don't know where you got the notion that I thought I would be healthy by cooking meals in the microwave. I made no such mention.

Thank you everyone for all your info. Your information has helped me to decide. I'm excited about getting one. There is a lot I will be able to do in it. Besides making gourmet meals to serve to Gordon Ramsey that is. LOL
