Do not have supplemental...SM - Old Anon

insurance. I have a Medicare Advantage Plan which includes parts A, B, and D, plus bare-bones dental, annual eye exam, and a $5/month "Y" membership. I pay $65 extra a month plus whatever Medicare is charging this year. The most expensive med I take costs me $47 a month and the least expensive is $12. My doc visit copay is $0. My specialist visit copay is $35. If the vast majority of Americans had single-payer health insurance, the hospitals would have to accept what the plan paid (of course this would be negotiated between the government and the healthcare providers) and not charge outrageous prices.
