so recycling is another problem. Same for those fluorescent light bulbs with mercury inside.
I'm an advocate of solar energy but not of a government mandating it.
Sunlight doesn't just magically transform into electricity without the energy costs and wastes associated with manufacturing solar cells, just like advocates of "green" electric cars ignore the fact that the electricity at charging stations had to come from somewhere, and electricity used to power those cars has to come from a power plant.
