That is the beauty of tariffs. With a tariff in place multiple domestic sources of solar panels will become available and create domestic competition.

The bigger question is how many news homes are not going to be built now? How many more people will move out of CA? As far as this technology is concerned, the free market should have been permitted to decide. And if they can’t compete with home generators, so be it.
