Way to go Super PACs

Posted: Apr 6, 2016

You are blocking the trump from getting delegates, but in the meantime have you thought about the fact that cruz CANNOT beat her?  Way to go, just give her the election.  Geesh.

;

No one knows if it is going to be her - but this is what am hearing

The GOP hates Trump, they probably hate Cruz also. They find themselves in a bind. From what I am hearing, already in place millions being poured into NY contest against Trump, not that he will lose there but that is what they want. I hear GOP would rather lose with Cruz than lose with Trump and they are thinking they will lose with either 1 of those 2. What is the biggest concern here is this: With Trump if nominated sure loss and also others in the GOP, senate and the like will lose their seats, many more with Trump than Cruz. There are millions being poured into Stop Trump. I even heard one Koch brother who usually does not pick a candidate even putting his millions in against Trump.

Another thing, if Trump and Cruz both go to convention, then they would have to try to get delegates to stand and be counted for them. You will never get delegates to vote for you talking against them, talking against the party and that is what one of those guys has done and is doing. If on the first vote (without the required number for the nominee) and it goes to second then the delegates can choose the person they want, can be anyone and does not have to be either Trump or Cruz. Interesting, huh?

The Republicans are handing the election to Dems - Trump and Cruz supporters will not vote

The whole process is so corrupt it is unbelievable.

Been the same for over 150 years. Most people - think vote and the person

with the majority gets the nomination. Not so. The delegates pick. There are even unassigned delegates who can pick the person they like most, do not have to go with any popular vote. The people who usually do the best with this way of selection are ones who know how this works. Just talked with my daughter this morning and she finally found out how it worked, she did not like and therefore chooses not to be involved because she "thinks" corrupt. If you watch or read much you will see even republicans are talking about giving the election away, hoping to rebuild and be ready for the next one. I don't think the GOP is worried about nonvoters though, they are more worried about their party collapsing.
Republicans are living in a dream world - voters are fed up

Past tense, the party has collapsed while trying to fight the majority of voters who are anti-establishment (anti-corruption) and support Trump and Cruz.

All extremely flawed candidates - old and burned out

Yes, that includes Hillary and Bernie as well as Trump and Cruz. If you think Cruz is any better than Trump and haven't read up on him please do so - as well as his bat crap crazy father (whom he has not disavowed). Everyone lies, everyone has skeletons in the closet. All we do when we vote is pick the person we think will do the least damage.
You are absolutely correct! It's sad, but it's reality. - anon

SuperPacs do not care if a republican or - democrat get in.

[ In Reply To ..]
They all just want the status quo of greed and corruption to stay in Washingtong via selling out the voters for $$$$$ once elected. With Hillary, Bernie, Cruz or any another establishment politician, they get just that either way.

SuperPacs are really interested in putting their - money against

Trump. They do not want someone totally inexperienced and totally unaware of the most simplistic of things involving not only the US but other countries as well. To win, say in Wisconsin last night, you do not go in and trash the governor (who people say is extremely well liked), the radio talk shows (which apparently many, many like, listen and pay attention to), even trashing Wisconsin saying they are having a rough time there when the majority in polls state just the opposite. You cannot win delegates (which apparently this looks like the end game will be here) by going against them, the GOP, and thinking a one man show is all it takes. You talk about the establishment but you need to know how to play the game and not be against all involved or else the outcome may not be what you want.

Billionaires And Super PACsSep 27, 2012
"Remember when President Obama’s re-election campaign and its allies complained about billionaire Sheldon Adelson giving cash to Republican super PACs? They apparently have no such qualms about radical left financier George Soros doing the same thing. Today, news broke that Soros is handing $1 million to Priorities USA Action, President Obama’s chief super PAC. It is no coincidence that this week, President Obama refused to meet again and again with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. ...

Busted: Sanders Has Benefitted From Super PACS And Feb 17, 2016
Sen. Bernie Sanders, the independent-turned-Democratic Senator from Vermont, proudly states pervasively that he does not have a Super PAC and he's not beholden to Wall Street ties in the same fashion as Hillary Clinton. That's true. There is no Bernie super PAC per se, but he does benefit from the super PACs within his coalition. Moreover, he's benefited from indirect Wall Street contributions and regularly attended retreats hosted by their lobbyists, according to the Wall Street ...

Nixon once said what would prophetically become the mantra of the ultra-neoconservative: "People react to fear, not love; they don't teach that in Sunday School, but it's true." I am typically immune to most of those now-tired party tactics, much like the villagers in the story of the "boy who cried wolf." Instead, I have gone past annoyed with it and now straight to mystified by the never-ending gullibility of other villagers, who know there's no actual wolf, but just seem ...

AGAIN SUPER HYPER DOGApr 11, 2011
So, guest dog has been having it very, very rough.  He is just not happy at all, period.  I took my little shih tzu (who is very, very calm and very, very good and very tiny @ a whole 5.5 pounds) and guest dog for a little walk.  He got totally spooked by rabbits running everywhere (it's spring, there are rabbits all over the park) and started yanking, screaming, jumping and strangling himself.  I let go of my dog's leash (she stays put) and tried to pick him up, he ...

Bah Humbug, Super Tuesday. Why Is This Permitted At All.Mar 01, 2016
Seems to me each party changes the voting laws to the point where we the people never get the government wants. All of it rigged. I see it more this year. If Trump or Clinton walk away with this, then I say we need to challenge voting systems, especially for president.
