My friend had her annual mammogram a few days ago, and she received a call to come back. Yesterday they did additional films and an ultrasound. The radiologist told my friend the mass is definitely not a cyst, but is solid. She was recommended an ultrasounded needle biopsy. Today I offered to go with her, and I was present for the procedure. I just found out this morning and feel so bad for her. Theresa was put in a nursing home with hardly any support at all.
