...when it comes to leading the country. Both sides of the aisle see evidence of that and wonder, does he even WANT to be president?

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows President Obama attracting support from 46% of voters nationwide, while Mitt Romney earns the vote from 44%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.
One week ago today, just before Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan was introduced as the GOP Vice Presidential nominee, the numbers were reversed and Romney was up by two.
Ronald Reagan was 8% behind - in the polls...

maybe this is part of the problem.
I think the mantle of leadership has shifted from - Romney to Ryan!

Ryan has seemed to be the one at the top of the ticket for the past week, with Romney in the support role. Even their body language when you see the two of them together....if I didn't know anything about the race and just saw photos of them, I'd have thought Ryan was the leader between the two of them.
This reminds me so much of 4 years ago when Sarah Palin drew bigger crowds and more avid supporters than McCain did.

Where Is The Leadership?Oct 02, 2013You can blame republicans or you can blame democrats or anyone you want but here is a very basic fact. The president is supposed to be a LEADER. That means his job is to LEAD with a steady hand, guide the congess to resolution and quell the turmoil. This president is not providing leadership. I say the blame starts at the top and flows from there. One does not lead by simply saying "i will not negotiate" and walking away. This president in failing in his most ...

Republican Congress Leadership To Skip Selma Anniversary EventMar 06, 2015Scores of U.S. lawmakers are converging on tiny Selma, Alabama, for a large commemoration of a civil rights anniversary. But their ranks don’t include a single member of House Republican leadership — a point that isn’t lost on congressional black leaders.
None of the top leaders — House Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy or Majority Whip Steve Scalise, who was once thought likely to attend to atone for reports that he once spoke before a white supremacist group — w ...
