I know. I went to my I-phone and couldn't respond. - Oh, well. It's still great news.

Sorry

Not quite. Turns out Cruz gets his Cadillac coverage - from Goldman Sachs.

He "doesn't depend on" the great policy his job earns for him. That's apparently not good enough for him. Instead, he prefers to "depend on" his wife's coverage. She's the regional head of a GS division.

You remember GS, don't you? That's the corrupt, controversy-ridden, too-big-to-fail/too-big-to-prosecute American taxpayer subsidized corporate welfare queen that took a cool $10 billion bailout that recently outsourced 1,000 jobs to Singapore in an effort to "cut $1 billion in operating costs over the next year."

Not to worry. Their savings are well spent. It costs GS $40,000 for EACH participant's family annually in insurance premiums. Primo health care is a privilege reserved for the 1% of the 1% creme-de-la-creme, dontcha know! The rest of the plebs either sink or swim.

I don't know what MS is, but prove it. - me

I don't know what MS is either. - What are you talking about? nm

me - Read the Goldmann-Sachs post.

Don't need to, since I wrote it. There is no reference - to MS anywhere in sight. nm

If it's a typo, then I don't really see how I could prove that GS stands for Goldman Sachs or, more importantly, why I should.

Not MS... GS = Goldman Sachs! - nm

Gee, I wish I was perfect. I make typos sometimes. - Besides, is it his or wifey's (sm)
[ In Reply To ..]
and I need proof or I think it's just all lies and made up stuff, like libs are wont to do
Wife is (SW) Region Head for Investment Management Division - of Goldman, Sachs & C

Here's a link from the Greater Houston Partnership, where she is a board member. I suppose you will take their word for it since they should know who they have on their own board, huh?

http://www.houston.org/about/board-staff.html#board/212727

Here's the link reporting what GS pays for medical insurance for their officers and management directors. To be exact, $40,543 for each participant's family.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/27/health/policy/27insure.html?_r=0

Now, you have to ask yourself. Why would a freshman senator sign up for a paltry federal plan when wifey-poo's policy can confer the prestige that comes with a company that steals from the poor to lavish such excess on the rich?

Dependent on a bailed out American taxpayer subsidized corporate welfare queen gold-plated Cadillac plan. Straight up.

Let me know if you need help with verifying all those "lies and made up stuff" you mistakenly attribute to what libs "are wont to do" [sic].
Where is your proof he is on his wife's - insurance?
[ In Reply To ..]
You are making an assumption. If you're going to make a claim, back it up.
So are you. Where's your proof that he isn't? - Assumptions can be
[ In Reply To ..]
based on either logical or illogical premises. It's not logical that TC would turn down the great coverage offered to him as a freshman senator simply based on ideological principles. It's also not logical that he would then turn around and trade down to the same or less coverage for the same, less or more money since Mr Me-Me-Me is all about Ted Cruz. Who does that? For the sake or argument, let's assume for a minute his wife were a teller in a local bank with bare bones HMO or low-premium, high-deductible, high copay coverage. Do you seriously think he would opt for that over federal coverage for the sake of his "principles"?

More to the point, would he be silly enough to purchase his own individual private policy and pay exorbitant premiums for "worthy" coverage when he has the choice to ride on his wife's $40,000+ Goldman Sachs subsidized gold-plate Cadillac policy as a family dependent? Keep in mind we are talking about Ted Cruz here, a double-ivy-leaguer who "reeks of arrogance" (see link). You can read all about it in the October issue of GQ. Here are a few inside-track nuggets coming atcha from down here in the Lone Star. My personal favorite is the LIFESIZE oil painting he keeps of himself in his office.

BTW, The Burnt Orange Report relentlessly stalks Texas politician night and day and never fails to back up their claims, something you seem to expect from others, but do not necessarily feel compelled to do yourself. Still, I'd love to hear your counterpoint argument in support of the assumption you are making.

Dear, I'm not assuming anything. I have no - idea what insurance
[ In Reply To ..]
the guy is using and I'm not claiming to. You are. I've no doubt you are correct in your assumption. However, you are making a proclamation that you have no evidence for. All I ask for is the proof.
Why did you [sic] "are wont to do" - ?
[ In Reply To ..]
There is nothing odd or erroneous in that wording. It is proper English.
Odd is a matter of opinion, isn't it? - IMO
[ In Reply To ..]
the word is archaic and conjures up Old or Middle English, Saxon or Old Germanic prototypical language models as opposed to more modern popular usage. It's a throwback to the Middle Ages. I don't know anyone who speaks Middle English anymore, so as a forward-oriented progressive, I SICed it.
You are certainly entitled to believe a word or - phrase looks odd,
[ In Reply To ..]
but that does not mean the word or phrase is incorrect. "As wont to do" is still used both in speech and literature. Just because you are not familiar with a word or phrase does not mean it ceases to be relevant. I fear for the future of the English language if the only proper usage of words or phrases is the "popular" usage. I find it disheartening that your attitude toward language is becoming the majority, and you call the dumbing down of America "progressive." I'm sorry, but that is sad.

This is a duplicate post - nm

Dem Dick Durbin Refused To Disclose 8 Years Of Emails Jun 29, 2017
Dick Durbin, the leftist partisan hack who has advocated filibustering President Trump’s Supreme Court picks, has something to hide. The Associated Press has reported that GOP baseball shooter James Hodgkinson has been involved with at least two Democratic senators from his home state. Clearly these two senators are Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth. Durbin, who has long been an apologist for Islam, apparently is a defender of liberal aspiring killers as well. If the emails are so innoc ...
