these "groups" are disliked for their behaviors or what they represent which is a right afforded to any person in this country. A person has the right to abhor that which they find distasteful or immoral. Loving any and all behaviors of any group of people (with the exception of those who possess morals, of course) tends to be a dumbocrat idealogy. Go figure... ;)
I understand - sm

your need to make this about the hated (as opposed to your soft-peddled disliked) instead of the haters (as opposed to your implicit soft-peddled dislikers). You are right and are free to dodge, distact and otherwise change the subject, pontificate and try to grab that privileged and exclusive moral high ground as much as you like for as long as you like. In fact, I encourage you to engage in this patently transparent behavior ad nauseum, since doing so speaks for itself and conveys its own special unspoken message. No figuring required there.
PS: I am adding the neutral group of incontrovertable facts to that long list.
I also have the right....sm - PLW

to abhor those who continuously engage in trivial dialogue concerning whether or not a person has the right to "hate." There is absolutely nothing wrong with hatred for abhorrent behavior/deeds or other representations. In fact, we should hate such things. We all engage in behavior we shouldn't and many of us are ashamed of such behavior. However, it is those who insist we view each person's behavior as "good or moral" if a person wishes to engage in such behavior regardless of how another person may feel about such behavior, that I have a problem with. Hatred is not evil if what is hated is evil or wrong. Get over it already. ;)
Absolutely. By all means - we must
[ In Reply To ..]
protect, defend and promote our right to hate and to trivialize hatred above all else. You can even hate posters who reply without bothering to read first and refuse to fact facts. I'm down with that. I mean, there is no one on earth more deserving of our hatred than 911 responders in need of medical care, newborn natural citizens, rape and incest victims, infant brats from unplanned pregnancies living outside the womb, homeless female veterans and their male counterparts with dependent children, all mothers, pacifists, all global citizens living outside the US for the simple fact that they are not one of us, hungry school children, victims of natural disasters (a new addition to the list), the disabled, sick and seniors on a low fixed income. We must make sure these folks get their come-uppance once and for all. No one deserves hatred more than they.
Makes me so PROUD to be an American, striving to be almost as forthright of a citizen as you. By all means, lets make hate our campaign battle cry. It will cover up those nasty little platform deficits we are trying so desperately to keep under wraps. Right on, sister, right on.
Uh oh...you forgot one...sm - PLW

People with disabilities who don't quite qualify because they're not disabled enough...if they can still hobble around on 7 toes, they can still put out a day's work. I'm sure there are others who are hated just as much as the one's on your list...but who's counting sister...LOL
Me thinks you protest too much. We're ALL hated for something. Sound that battle cry. Now, I've got to get to work. Some one must hate me because I think I deserve to retire. ;)
a question - for you
[ In Reply To ..]
I've applied for disability, too, and I heard that age is an important factor. Would you mind stating your age? I have a hearing coming up and I'm scared to death I won't be approved because I've heard (and you just proved) that it's very hard to get Social Security disability.
If you would prefer not to, I fully understand. I was just wondering.
SS disability...sm - PLW
[ In Reply To ..]
I'm almost 58 but it wasn't I who applied but a good friend who has lost several toes due to infections and they claim she can still work. It is very hard to get, however. You usually have to hire a lawyer because they just don't want to give you what rightfully belongs to you. I also know a person who had a severe case of MS, in a wheelchair, and she had to fight to get hers. It took her 9 months. It's a racket.
I agree with you there. Case in point is my DH - Backwards Typist
[ In Reply To ..]
They don't consider heart valve problems a disability anymore. He asked his doc because he was thinking about it. Doc said he'd be wasting his time filing but he would write a letter for him if he wanted to go through with it.
I have a friend who didn't have any problem getting SSI for her MS. She's not in a wheelchair and she didn't have any problem getting it.
Could it be that it depends on the mood the committee is on that day? Or would it depend on how much 'pull' the doctors have with SS? (I would vote for both of the above.)
I don't think...sm - PLW
[ In Reply To ..]
they really want to consider anything a disability any more. You have to practically be dead to qualify. I think you're probably right in your assessment. Some people seem to have no problems getting it while others have to come to their appointment on a gurney to get it. ; )

Yes it is a racket! I use to work on the SS end of this and then went into MT years ago. I had 30 years experience in MT before having to retire because of chronic pancreatitis.
Because of working with the "other side" of SS for several years, I knew some tricks when I applied. I applied on October 30 was approved on November 17 and on December 1 my back pay was in the bank and my first check came January 1. Actually nine months is pretty good though. Doesn't help when you need that money today.
I've applied and also have chronic pancreatitis. - Any "tricks" you can share?

In amongst your rant I can see there is much hatred toward conservatives.
Have you studied every single iota of bills that are being passed? Have you read every single page and understood everyone one? No, I don't think so. This is just another lame attack against people not in the democrat/progressive/communist party.
If you are going to write hate for a president, then you need to include the democrats who hate the republican president and his wife.
I think your wrong on just about every single one. You are grouping everyone into one category.
I'd say about 95% of your numbers there are democrats who hate too.
Maybe you should stick to individual one by one incidents instead of lumping everything together. The hatred for anyone in the conservative party exudes from this post.
At least now I know where you heard some of this - and regurgitated it word for word

Right Wing Slams White House For Meeting With Atheist ‘hate Groups’Feb 27, 2010By Daniel TencerFriday, February 26th, 2010 -- 5:56 pm
Some conservative commentators are accusing the Obama administration of inviting "hate groups" into the White House by holding a meeting with a coalition of secularist and atheist groups.
Officials from the Justice and Health and Human Services departments met Friday with representatives of the Secular Coalition for America, an umbrella group that includes American Atheists and the Council for Secular Humanism. The coalition called it "the ...

Psychology Of Hate, 7 Stages Of Hate.Aug 27, 2012I got to wondering once again what is behind some of the behaviors we see on a lot of forums, so I went looking.
This link discusses one model, explained by a former FBI behavioral analyst, that is easy to apply to on-line forum discussions, where behaviors would, of course, play out in the first four stages. (The discussion on skinhead groups can be skipped over, if desired, with the actual 7 stages explained below.)
It was the last section, though, on how indulging in hate tends to play out ...
