It's been delightful to see Morning Joe this morning cover his face, alternate between hanging and shaking his head, and literally stunned speechless at his loss to come up with rhetorical spin. He tried to take a stab at blaming the ineptitude of R-team campaign staff. That lasted all of 2 minutes before it led them to another dead end, so they're pretty much putting Romney's condescension and telling revelations on the back burner where they can be ignored until the end of the show. To his credit, he didn't try to blame President Obama for the crumbling GOP campaign. Filthy acronyms aside, get ready for four more years.

in any regard. I used to live in a neighborhood with many earnest Mormons, and to them the nation around them is a sinkhole of trashy behavior in all respects, such as

Economic--U.S. as a whole is highly irresponsible in comparison.
Moral--U.S. is highly immoral.
Religious--Obviously totally on the wrong tracks.
Family--Very inadequate family values and behavior in comparison.
Community--Very inadequate values and behavior in comparison.
Miscellaneous--Drink coffee and soft drinks (bad!).

Given the highly structured lives they lead, following many sensible Church rules, there's some support for their self satisfaction. As far as it goes. We may feel theirs is only one way of many good ones, but they don't accept that premise.

Shhh....don't tell the liberals this, but the Mormon-bashing is going to backfire. Going after anyone's religion or family is a huge no-no for voters. But hey, it does reveal the way some of them really feel - "your religion is weird and stupid." Ha-ha!! So much for the so-called "tolerant" left.

In spite of Governor Romney's mistake in thinking automatic weapons are illegal in the U.S., I was more interested in a more rambling answer about single mothers.
