The Weekly Standard pointed out these paragraphs from the article in HuffPo:

Paragraph 3:  "But the firm also wrote that it is impossible to characterize the extent to which the edits and cuts distort the meaning of the conversations depicted and that there was no “widespread evidence of substantive video manipulation.”

"The report by research firm Fusion GPS, which was obtained by POLITICO, attempts to undermine the videos’ political, legal, and journalistic value. " IOW, Fusion GPS is only an OPPOSITION RESEARCH FIRM. 

Article after article from back in the last presidential campaign noted who's behind Fusion GPS.  Turns out it's an opposition research firm with ties to the Democratic party and HAS A HISTORY OF HARASSING SOCIALLY CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN DONORS, possibly on behalf of the Obama campaign. 

Because Frank VanderSloot donated $1 million to a Republican SuperPAC during the Romney campaign, this so-called research group smeared him and his wife for the only reason of the campaign donation, but because his wife donated to an anti-gay group.

Hopefully, the whole article will be read.  (I would post more but I've filled up quite a bit of space.) It's quite interesting. The group's is greedy  and hatred big time by this Glenn Simpson. Whichever side pays the highest price gets the type of info they want even if they have to maipulate it.
