WASHINGTON (AP) — The Obama administration is considering a plan that would shield possibly around 5 million immigrants living in the country illegally from deportation as part of a broad set of executive actions that could be announced as early as next week, people familiar with the discussions say.
(a) Criminal penalties
(iii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;
Is this president above the law? Or is he ignoring it to further his "abominable" legacy?

Watch the movie Homestretch. One of main characters is a wonderful example of a young man who needs immigration reform. His parents are afraid of deportation and cannot/will not help him for fear of being found. This movie is about homeless children. 1.6 million homeless children in U.S. school systems. Many are tied up in this very issue of immigration reform.

Anyway, interesting article. It seems most have been offered amnesty or parole being political refugees.
Given the violence in Mexico and Honduras this might also apply. I have no problem offering them to stay on humanitarian basis.
