I heard some of these right-wing Middle Easterners are aflame over Masonic-Jewish conspiracies, which made my hair stand on end. What happens if the crazed Western and Middle Eastern wingnuts realize how much they have in common and start destroying together?

Once upon a time, the influence of family and neighbors, the local community in geneal, provided some balance and control, but these days they can band together across vast distances.

Left and right extremists are the same type. Sensible - folk across the spectrum worry about them.

Across the globe too. We have to find out a way to reign in people who no longer find themselves lonely and alone after their own people at home express their disapproval by rejection and happy once again when approval is extended in response to good behavior.

Democrats and progressives are members of a political party that cares about people and are more in line with the teachings of Christ. (Who was it that said, "We are our brother's keeper?" and what did He mean by that?) If there really is a place where demons await his warshipers and followers, you will find those among us who refused to care for the least of us. That group will be comprised of people who pretend to care about babies in the womb but then refuse to allow their tax dollars to care for the less fortunate babies who are born into poverty through no fault of their own. It is those whose idea of democracy is "Every man for himself" "I got mine, you get yours" "I did it all by myself." "My small business loan, my public education, public libraries, roads and bridges, etc, all those things that allowed my business to thrive, and all the men and women who join the military to protect me and my rights... none of that matters; nobody helped me; the government didn't help me. I did it all by myself. I built that all by myself" Those are the people who will have some explaining to do on judgement day.

I've always believed that Dems following Jesus's teachings more - closely is a major cause of right-wing hostility.

I love to discuss political issues in an intelligent fashion, and I have friends w/ vastly different opinions than my own. I saw part of a post the other day where someone said there were posters here who are not transcriptionists. How many are there? Guess I just assumed that everyone who frequented here was an MT. I am just curious why you are hanging around a political forum that is part of a transcriptionist forum. The level of political discourse on this forum is petty and childish far more than informative or objective.
