Back in January in an in interview with NPR, Obama national security adviser Susan Rice was still touting the Obama administration's success at removing chemical weapons in Syria: Between her dubious public statements on Benghazi, the Bowe Bergdahl desertion, her recent denial that she knew anything about unmasking Trump officials' identities in intelligence reports, and now this—it would seem Rice has a real problem with credibility. ;

You're out of step with the universal outrage at what Assad did, which is a direct outcome of the policies of President Wimp, who forever hid behind the need to get "approval" and then never making the case for it with any sort of conviction.

Trump is not chest puffing. It was inevitable that this would happen.
As for past remarks, it's a bit different when you KNOW something then when you just THINK you know something. He didn't know everything about Syria back then, no one did. Your average citizen only hears what it given out by the governments of the world.
Then there's the fact that Russia was not intervening with their military back then. They supplied weapons until 2015, then added military help, so it's really a big difference from the year Trump told Obama he should stay out.
Trump know has the inside track on what is really happening in Syria and after the chemical weapon pile that Assad destroyed in 2011 as part of the deal Obama made with Assad, now used on the Syrian people, the deal is off. Anyway, Assad "crossed the red line" that Obama put in the sand back then and even though Obama didn't do anything, the line still stood. There aren't too many in Congress or around the world that are furious over it.
Some countries are happy the U.S. stepped up. Nickie Haley had very harsh words for the U.N. yesterday AND today against Syria and Russian intervention.
Obama said Assad didn't have chemicals. Could it be - that he took the chemicals and
