Been in your shoes. Bought into what the media pundits had to say. Repeated their pablum and hoped I could turn people against certain political players and/or camp. I was carrying their water.

Whichever party is in control, the other side slams with nearly the same rhetoric that the other side uses when they're out of power. It's just ridiculous. I finally recognized the games and the manipulation that media, including MSNBC and FOX, use and I refuse to be their sucker. Nope, I, for one, don't listen any more as I don't have time to waste in their big game. When I see posts like yours, I realize you're still caught, trapped even. Let go of it and you'll find out you feel better, happier, balanced... Not so angry or snarky or judgmental, being used by people who thrive on controversy that is usually drummed up or twisted out of proportion or so distorted as to barely actually resemble the truth. They certainly do not present both sides in a fair manner. Don't be used!
