except that he will be giving away more of everything. I do not plan to watch or listen to him tonight, just like I have not done in the past. I will find something more interesting to do ... like scrubbing my already clean floor boards with a toothbrush or possibly filing down my dog's nails. At least I will not be wasting any of my precious free time.

Could not agree more. This same stuff is posted day after day after day after day, trying to pass as political. Is this REALLY what the GOP intends to do between now and 2016? Hate on the president and avoid any and every opportunity to talk about what they would do different, how they would do it, and why it would be better? Probably, since they pretty much can't run on their leadership, record, policies or platform. Like Romney, maybe it's going to take losing a 3rd presidential election before they realize what a losing strategy this is.

The only reason cons want voters to boycott the SOTU is because he's going to talk about all that real political stuff the middle class loves but the GOP hates to hear about, like economic growth, high jobs numbers, cutting the unemployment rate in half, expanding educational opportunities, immigration reform, tax breaks for the middle class, paid family leave, the environment, climate science, net neutrality, etc and contrast his proactive leadership styles with GOP debt and funding debacles, like threats to defund DHS and undercurrent references to their allergy to bipartisanship even on issues of agreement.

So don't watch--Maybe Fox will treat you to a - Prepper special or something
