It's really not uncommon for tabouleh because that is the base of that salad. My salad does not contain wheat bulgur or mint, though, so it's not technically tabouleh.
It's just finely minced parsley, grape tomatoes, black olives, red onion, lemon juice, olive oil, fresh parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper. Parsley is supposed to be highly nutritious and a good breath freshener. This salad is so delicious, I could eat it at every meal.
Sesame sticks and chopped fresh dill. Mmmm... NM - Wandering

Cucumber Salad Recipe From Previous PostsJun 04, 2012I finally got this recipie from my dad and it is one that our family has made for years. What I also do to add a little "zing" to it is add 2-3 drops of tobasco sauce to the mixture, it just gives it an extra kick and with super fresh tomatoes is great!
Cut 2-3 fresh tomatoes into wedges;peel and slice 1 large cucumber and peel and thinly slice 1 onion (also can add celery and green pepper if desired)
Combine 2 tablespoons oil. 3 tablespoons vinegar, 3 tablespoons sugar, and 1 te ...
Married V Common LawFeb 24, 2014I am just wondering, kinda want input here, perspectives or views... I recently met a couple, new to our neighborhood. The woman has 2 grown kids from her first marriage and 2 grandchildren. The man has no biological children, but loves her grandchildren very much, it is very obvious. They seem to be normal, hard-working folks, have a very nice house and nice cars, travel a lot... They have been together for 22 years and are not "legally married".& ...

The Most Common Error I See Made ByAug 02, 2017Minored in political science, so you can believe this: Fascism is NOT and never has been a conservative philosophy. It is a philosophy from which LIBERALISM is directly descended.
Fascism exalts the value of the COLLECTIVE ("society") over the value of the INDIVIDUAL, and this is directly in line with liberal values, not conservative.
I'm sorry, liberals, but it's true: Hitler was a leftist. Musolini was a leftist. By NO MEANS did either of them espouse ...

Common Sense Health Care Nov 05, 2009Common Sense Health Care our Nation can afford. - This makes sense to me.
The American people have spoken. They oppose government-run health care. Republicans are on the side of the American people.
What Americans want are common-sense, responsible solutions that address the rising cost of health care and other major problems. In the national Republican address on Saturday, October 31, 2009, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) discussed Republicans’ plan for common- ...

WS And Bankers Worry TP/OWS Will Find Common CauseNov 21, 2011Here's part of Saturday's Chris Hayes report on organized smear tactics out of WS and banking sectors. I think certain democratic pols and strategists are wrestling with this as well (second link). Their response has not been as overt, but they seem nervous, nonetheless.

Common Core Thinks Name Change Will FoolSep 17, 2015The state of New York looks to be the next state with plans to re-brand the Common Core by calling it something else but otherwise making virtually no substantive curriculum changes.
New York Board of Regents chancellor Merryl Tisch announced in a public radio interview on Tuesday that education bureaucrats are “toying with” the possibility of a new statewide name for the perpetually unpopular Common Core State Standards Initiative...

Gay Teen Suicides (And Straight) More Common In Politically Conservative AreasApr 18, 2011By LINDSEY TANNER 04/18/11 06:28 AM ET
CHICAGO -- Suicide attempts by gay teens – and even straight kids – are more common in politically conservative areas where schools don't have programs supporting gay rights, a study involving nearly 32,000 high school students found.
Those factors raised the odds and were a substantial influence on suicide attempts even when known risk contributors like depression and being bul ...
Outrage Flares As Michelle Obama Invites Common To White House To Read PoetryMay 12, 2011What are your thoughts on Michelle inviting Common to the White House? I don't know the guy and know nothing about rappers, but from what I'm hearing, this is causing a big stink. I can't figure out why she would invite such a controversial person. Even though it's 2011, we're still litigating whether rap music in and of itself is a societal corrosive or an artistic expression that channels raw experience and expurgates emotions in the form of a catharsis. It& ...
"Common Sense" Gun Control Lies Exposed.Aug 17, 2016know the difference between an automatic and a semi-automatic weapon. You now know more than “common sense gun control” advocates. That’s because you, the fabulous person reading this post, has at least two brain cells to rub together to form a cogent thought. Which makes you seven bajillion times smarter than the average anti-gun loon, who knows as much about guns as a lobster knows quantum physics. Therefore we’re exposing just how little anti-gun ninnies (who vote) don’t know. It’ ...
Trump To Merkel: "At Least We Have Something In Common"Mar 18, 2017Good line. Everyone in the room laughed. They all got it instantly.
I also read in the German papers and they were incredibly flummoxed about how to treat the statement. On the one-hand they found it funny, on the other they thought that Trump was “being mean to the establishment.” Either way it was brilliant to plant that comparison. Germans are very suspicious of the surveillance-state. ...
