The word is out on Tiger Woods

Believe it or not, there are guys out there who do not cheat. - I have one

[ In Reply To ..]
My husband comes from a very large family, there are 6 or more guys and there is not 1 divorce in the family and no one has ever chased their husband down the driveway with a golf club! Husband and I first married when he was 49, first marriage for him. He told me no use in getting married to run around, what the use? Now almost 10 years later have never even had the first thought of his cheating. Even on his days off he hardly wants to leave the home, has a room for his guitaring, plays there and also likes his computer close by. Tiger has been so very private and if I were his wife, would be very concerned about the people he has fooled around with, well anyone this day and age. He has put her as well as the children at risk. Very dangerous and very risky business. He has really dogged his wife out, 3 came forth, what about the ones who did not? Just think, he got behind those closed doors with his wife only to have the next 2 come forth. I would hate to be in his shoes for his socks. Very low keyed guy and look at what transpired.

Yes there are men who don't cheat and I don't care what Tiger did (sm) - just me

[ In Reply To ..]

I feel bad for his wife, yes, but frankly we shouldn't even be privvy to information about what is going on in their personal life. He is not the president, he is not a self-proclaimed role model for our children. It is between his wife and him. Not our business in any way, shape or form.
I agree and hope he continues to remain silent - it will go away
[ In Reply To ..]
I hope he continues to refuse to talk about it. It will not be long before the next person will behave badly and this will be forgotten by the people whose business it is not.
Let me tell you what will happen with this - Knowing

He can continue to hole up and stay silent. Unless he retires completely the next time he decides to be out there playing golf or holding news conference, do you think there will be complete silence on this? Nah, if he ducks and hides then some like National Enquirer or TMZ will put plant in the crowd to throw out questions which will probably make Mr. Privacy very, very unhappy. There are people who do damage control and what he has done, that is retreat behind closed doors, is not the way that is done. He should have man upped from the start instead of hiding. It will be right there when he shows his face again. People are clamoring (spelling?) to be the first to get pictures, up to date information, etc. Trying to sweep under the rug only makes that rug bulge that much more. I wonder how many more out there. Personally I think the first one was given something to sweeten the pot, because no news conference held yesterday as had been previously said by Gloria Allred, attorney for first.
He is not sweeping it under the rug and - remaining silent and staying private is not duckin
[ In Reply To ..]
Explaining and admitting to the public is not man-upping. It's trying to save your ass and your persona. I'm sure he's doing enough of that at home, he doesn't need "our" forgiveness.

People will get bored of this and move on, and they will still love him for the phenomenal golfer that he is whether he lays it out there or keeps his lip zipped. Same way people still love that crackhead Agassi. If he had been outed but kept silent, people would still love 'em some Andre.

The people who think TW "has to" make a statement or explain or apologize are just nosy tabloid titsuckers. Gladys Kravitzes.
I could care less about apology, do not even watch him - playing golf but he will not
[ In Reply To ..]
remain silent, sitting behind doors and expect no one to say anything when he comes out again. If others surface, I am sure some of his sponsors are not going to want to go along with his catting around. One mistress is enough, but 3? Now what would a woman be called if that was us? Sure would not be called phenomenal, would it?

Right - okay

If women would refuse to participate with the cheaters (sm) - just me

[ In Reply To ..]
then they couldn't cheat, could they? Very few of them where the woman doesn't know. So you can't just say "he's a man, of course he cheats." Takes two to tango.

Apparently the other other woman came forward to talk about her alleged three year affair with Tiger because she felt betrayed. She thought she was the only one he was cheating with and so was shocked and heartbroken with the story of this latest conquest came out. I guess she felt that a strong moral compass would keep a man who cheated on his wife from cheating on his mistress. As Bill Engvall would say, here's your sign.

sometimes it is the other woman who initiates the affair, as well - nonemoose

[ In Reply To ..]
It is not always the male who goes looking to cheat. Sometimes he is seduced by the "other woman" into an affair. I have known several females who will go after another woman's husband, just to see if she can get him to stray or leave his wife. They do this purposefully and with much glee...even to their own "best friends." I have been on the other end of where a friend of mine went after my husband at the time, as well as the husband of other friends. I guess it is some sort of a game to them. Maybe makes them feel good about themselves, when in reality, they are pretty much scum of the earth. So, not always the man...they are just weak and incredibly naive. (the men, that is). jmo

You're right. There are some people who intentionally prey on others for their own sake. I was almost a "willing victim" to a predatory male several years ago. He was oh so very charming, so handsome, such a tease, knew what to say, when to say it and shamelessly made his desires known. My bubble was burst when I realized (swift kick in the a** by a great friend...) that it wasn't just me! surprise surprise. It was SEVERAL women in our office. Some had given in to him.

I am sooo lucky to have dodged that bullet, but barely. I made enough of a fool of myself. (I am not married... just old enough to should have known better!)

Beware of the predators!

Maybe I'm the world's biggest cynic, but I actually suspect that a lot of these women go out of their way to seduce the those with power and money just because they know they've got a future meal ticket. How many end up collecting hush money or achieve their own "fame" on the back of their dubious distinction as 'mistress to the stars'?

RIGHT! That's what leelee says, "cash cow". These people... throwing away their dignity and self-respect so carelessly and shamelessly. Their parents must be so proud.

Sadly, the media focuses so much on these incidents. Nevermind that there is a war on on a recession or important stuff like that, another celebrity confesses to an affair. Ah, headlines!

Word is out? This word has been out since last week!

Wrong as affairs are, I've gotta question this woman's motive (Monica Lewinsky's blue dress ring a bell?...) Why do these women keep "evidence"? Anticipation of a cash cow down the road? That's all it seems like to me. Perhaps celebrity wannabe?

It's shamefull all around. He was in a position to be such a positive role model too. Hope he turns it around. He's quite the athlete. Hope his wife keeps her head on straight too. Gotta be tough being the wife of such a superstar.

It burnt me so bad!  I now have a very large red place on my wrist and hand, and after 45 minutes, it ...
