Oh my GOSH...!!! Help...

Posted: Dec 18, 2011

I work in my mom's office 2 miles from where I live because DSL is not available at my house even though it is only 2 miles away.  My mom lives next door to the office.  Anyways, I used the toilet (no 2) and the damn toilet started overflowing.  I didn't put a lot of toilet paper or anything, nothing unusual.  Just normal.  There is no fricken plunger in the bathroom and I am so embarrassed to tell them.  I think I willl call my hubbie and tell him to bring our plunger over here and help!  How humiliating.  Makes me never wanna use a toilet anywhere but my house ever again!  I am not using this toilet in here anymore.  :/  I'm sorry, I hope I didn't gross anyone out but I have never had this happen before.

sorry this happened to you! - hmmm

Has your hubby made it there with the plunger to help you? I know you are embarrassed, but everyone uses the bathroom! Plus, the office should have a plunger there in case that ever happens. It isn't your fault.

It's just a toilet backup, not the end of the world. - relax

Clear it with your own plunger if you're really too afraid to ask your mother where she keeps hers. If she doesn't have one, buy her one and try not to freak out over something so minor. It has happened to everybody. It's part of the great tapestry of life.

So..... - been there too.

You plugged your mama's toilet with a BM.

To put this in perspective for you... =]
Who changed your diapers?

I can bet there isn't anything coming out of your body today that your mama hasn't already seen ; ]

Just go ask for the plunger.

My hubby did that - The Analog Kid

At his brother-in-law's parent's house on Christmas, no less. Nothing like watching him walk out into a room full of people celebrating and having to ask where the plunger was. I was glad it wasn't me...

I got it taken care of... - anonymouse

I ran to my house and got a plunger as my mom and stepdad had the lights out next door anyways and were apparently in bed. Got the plunger and came back and got it all fixed. I am gonna tell her though she really needs to keep a plunger out here because you never know when you will need it. lol

Next Time... - JT

Next time, if there's no plunger or it's bigger than a plunger can handle, quickly turn the water off to that toilet. It's down on the bottom by the floor. Not sure which way to turn it, or anything? Left is loose, right is tight. This will stop any water feeding into it. I always do that if I see it coming up anywhere near the rim so there's no chance of the water coming out.

I feel for you. I've been there. Didn't even want a plumber to see it, and you know plumbers have seen worse. It' just so humiliating. Just remember, they've seen it all!!

I found it pretty ironic that when it happens - to you, it is so SM

humiliating (happened to me too and felt the same exact way LOL) yet when it happens to someone else, my first response is to tell them "don't worry about it, it happens to a lot of people, nothing to feel bad about" LOL

Oh My Gosh I Can't Believe Myself...Dec 14, 2010
I have been on facebook and I am friends with a guy I knew in high school.  Well he started chatting and flirting and at first I gave him the cold shoulder, but then I guess he broke me down, and I started just talking, not flirting.  The talks keep getting more and more intense and have led to talking about sex.  I actually flirted around too tonight.  Tonight he asked me to send him nude pics.  I would NEVER do that.  I told him don't hold his breath.  T ...

Gosh, I'm EmbarrassedFeb 28, 2016
So here's the story.  I left MT and now work in a rural hospital.  I really enjoy my job and find most of my responsibilities immensely satisfying.  My co-workers are a great bunch of people, and my manager is cool.  Surprisingly, my MT knowledge comes into play every day!  Overall, the transition from the isolation of MT to pretty intense interaction with both patients and staff has been amazing...except... From the beginning, the employees from another department ...

Oh My Gosh. The Public Is Starting To Open Up.Mar 23, 2010
I went to grocery store, stood in line and cashier asks how am I doing?  I stated, "DISGUSTED WITH WHAT IS GOING ON WITH OUR GOVERNMENT."  Remind you, this is a very democratic state and democratic city I live in.  This good looking guy next to me standing in line holding gorgeous flowers stated, "You and me both."  "I am a doctor and I am leaving along with others and we are considering Canada."  I looked at him and stated, "I am a medical transcriptionist and my pay h ...
