Butcher block

Does anyone know what an "old" butcher block might sell for? It is unusual in that it has four different legs. My mother bought it at an auction years ago, but I don't even know what she paid for it. My father's neighbor wants to buy it, but we have no idea what to ask for it. Could we get an auctioneer come to the house to give us an estimate as to the value of the piece? Thanks.
