And the punches keep rolling

Posted: May 12, 2011

Another bit of news for those of you who have followed my posts the last couple of months - my (now) ex of just one week has informed me that he is getting married. He left to move to another state today so i don't know whether they did it this morning on their way to move or if they are going to do it once they get up there.  So essentially my 10 year old son is going to have a step-mom that not only has he never met before but is also the one that broke up his family to begin with.  How messed up is that?!?!  And I wondered this morning what she must be thinking.  He left his wife and family for her - how can she not think that he will do the same to her???  Unbelievable!!!! MEN - UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So sorry - sereneone

A former boss of mine did what your ex did. He and his lady friend were married for years and years, though she never really had more than a civil relationship with the kids. He eventually started openly stepping out with a younger, 30-something, he was in mid-50s at the time, buxom blond bimbo. They actually separated and he was living with the bimbo for a while. But, since his financial position had changed DRASTICALLY for the better in the years the family-breaker had been married to him, she had him by the you know whats and he eventually went back to her rather than give up half in a divorce settlement. I suspect there were more episodes of him stepping out but the bimbo is the only one that ever got her hooks into him deep enough for him to change his life.

Only thing though, he at least took care of his kids and was always a good dad. And stayed in the same area at least where they lived.

I\'m so sorry for you and your son but especially for your son since he now has an absent dad.

He is such a sweethart- sm -

total lowlife, lied again to you about not leaving you for her, etc. I hope you and you son can get over the anger and sadness in time. I presume not much visitation will be happening, though not sure your son would want to anyway. Very sad for him. This woman is not thinking about the future when he turns around and does it to her, but when he does it will be her just desserts.

FYI, Something to keep in mind in the future. I think you said you had been married over 10 years, if so when it is it is time to get SS and you are not married at that time (assuming SS is still around), and if your ex made more money than you then you entitled to his amount SS payment IF it would be larger than your own. It does not affect his SS payment, and he cannot stop you from doing this. You don't even have to tell him, or need his "permission". You probably need his SS# which you probaby already have from tax returns. So just something to squirrel away in your head, but you had to have been married for at least ten years to qualify for this.

Good Luck!

Soccer Girl Punches And Pulls Hair - Nov 10, 2009
This is the most disgusting behavior.  She punches a girl in the back and then she pulls someone elses hair so hard she drops to the ground. Don't people have any decency.  At first I though the girl was unconscious.  And this animal didn't even have the decency to see if she was okay.  I heard she was suspended.  I hope she is never allowed to play soccer again.  Wonder what her parents have to say of her behavior.  First time I've ever used the ...

What Do You All Think About The Rolling StoneJul 17, 2013
I consider myself a pretty open-minded person, but this is just a bit too much for me. It's not that he's on the cover, it's that he could very well be mistaken for some rock icon. I find that pretty tasteless. I won't be buying this copy because I don't want his face in my house, but I am interested in reading the article. ...

Texas Rolling BlackoutsFeb 03, 2011
I'm on the east coast, and the majority of us use natural gas or propane for heat, so we've never experienced rolling blackouts in the winter.  This may sound like a stupid question, but why are Texans experiencing the blackouts?  Do the majority of businesses use electric heat?  Why would they be using more electricy now than when it's 120 degrees in the summer?  (hence, my stupid question)  I heard they had to buy some power from Mexico.  ...

Interesting Rolling Stone ArticleMay 29, 2014
Fox News are doing a disservice to their watchers. They could at least TRY to mix in some truth amongst the anger-generating sensationalism. That way their viewers would not fail so miserably if asked questions about the real world. Yes, not opinion but fact, questions there are right and wrong answers to. "It's not exactly a revelation that Fox News viewers are spectacularly ill informed about current events compared to people who watch other networks. But according to a recent repor ...

Heads Are Rolling Over The Video Showing Paid Agitators At Trump RalliesOct 19, 2016
Two top Democratic strategists have exited the presidential campaign after explosive undercover videos showed them discussing voter fraud and their roles in planting paid agitators at campaign events for Republican candidate Donald Trump. Robert Creamer, founder of Democracy Advocates and the husband of Rep. Janice D. Schakowsky, Illinois Democrat, stepped down from the campaign Tuesday, a day after Scott Foval was fired from his post as national field director of Ameri ...
