Kanopy and Hoopla - Here You Go

Posted: Sep 14th, 2020 - 5:20 pm In Reply to: Kanopy May be Free at Your Library, Too - Killer Angel

Thanks for the info. My library system is small and we only have access to Hoopla. We are allowed to borrow 10 items at a time and can only keep movies 2-3 days, books for a week. They have a large music streaming library to download to your phone or other device. As you said, all libraries are different, but we seem to have an equal amount of TV shows and movies. Sometimes I will save all my borrows for the month if I want to stream a series. Our catalog is growing all the time and they have quite a few new releases now. I have not seen any Criterion films, but I think Kanopy has those. I just started subscribing to a streaming service called the Criterion Channel for $10 a month and like it a lot. I'm sure someone will come along and tell me how stupid and wrong I am, but this is my experience.
