Both packages of Sling (2 tiers) comes to $ 45.00 plus tax. You can add movie channels like Showcase, Epix, etc., but we never found the need since Sling offers hundreds of thousands of movies for free, as well as multiple TV series, etc.

Our cheapest cable just for local TV channels alone starts at $ 45.00 plus tax. That is for local only. Most of the cable costs in our area are well over $ 100.00.

Good luck...we have never been sorry we cut the cable.
