I have come and gone from Sling several times, but don't have it now. I know what I am talking about. I had the $30 Blue package with the $5 movie package add on. My internet bill is $70, which brought my total bill to over $100 a month, which for me is a lot of money, it depends on what you are used to paying. Sling is a la carte, and adding additional services does add up quickly. The buzz kill advertising on the channel itself was another reason I left. Why would Sling run an ad for Sling on Sling? The ad was running on other networks. I thought the interface was crap but I'm glad you love it, I think you might like Philo better. Just because you didn't see the ad does not mean it didn't exist - Google Sling Offensive Advertising and read some of the comments, the ad has since been pulled. Holy crap, I can't even share a personal experience without being called out.
