Two sides to every story - Self pity

I read her comments on Go Fund Me almost every day and I think some of the questions asked and suggestions made were valid. She mentioned several job offers that would have gotten her off the street and roommate situations that she never took but had no trouble asking for more money, once because she got a ticket for running an illegal headlight modification on her van. I saw attempts to get money from other sources throughout questionable personal injury lawsuits. I became resentful, to tell the truth, because I’ve struggled financially at times and never had anyone to bail me out when I messed up. And then there were stories about not paying her income tax and other things that were indicative of someone without much personal responsibility. Hitting the road alone without a plan or adequate resources would be another example. People here were trying to help, most people would have taken some action to, as one person said, “dig themselves out,” and don’t tell me there were not any jobs. The joke is on us now because with the lockdown the delivery services are thriving and many people have no work.
