I think your last sentence is the one I will address. "If I don't answer their calls, they will both take it personally." I say, don't answer the calls, and too bad if they take it personally. There is no goal post for you with these two. Danged if you do, danged if you don't when it comes to you. I know they're "blood," but it doesn't mean you have to get caught up in their sickness.
Remember, you have made yourself part of this dynamic, but you don't have to keep doing what you're doing.
