Many welfare recipients are children. Would you put them to work in the fields? Many welfare recipients are single mothers; what would you do with their kids? Many welfare recipients are elderly; want them picking grapes? Most welfare recipients are on for less than a year when they can't find a job.

How about eliminating corporate welfare?
