I am in the exact same position. I will be 60 in May and have been looking for a new job since November 2017. I have had a few short jobs, nothing lasted or I was not a 'good fit.' I just completed the substitute teacher training for my county. It's only about 30 hours a week, but it is steady and the need is great. My be something you could consider. I also have a part-time transcription job to cover the other hours to make a full 40-hour workweek and I hope I can be full-time over the summer break, or find one full-time job. I can look for a permanent position while making ends meet for now. My prayers for you. The stress of being unemployed at this age is the most amount of stress I have ever felt. Bless you. Keep trying and looking up.
