I can't decide if you're being serious... - sm

I suspect you're trolling me, but I'm going to give you a serious answer anyway.

1. You don't think Democrats would go to the press if Republicans ignored clear evidence of Trump's treason?

Here are some examples of Dems going to the press for much lesser reasons:
-- Schiff went to the press when House Republicans ended their probe for a lack of evidence against Trump wrongdoing. He promised that he would produce a list of leads the Republicans failed to follow up on. I haven't seen that list. Have you?
-- Feinstein leaked the interview with Glenn Simpson against the wishes of the Senate Republicans.
-- Senate Intelligence Committee staffer James Wolfe was banging and leaking information to New York Times reporter Ali Watkins.

2. Mueller is being demonized because he keeps the investigation going without finding anything related to collusion.

Have YOU been watching this? Did you not see Republicans (including Paul Ryan, the Speaker of the House) and Fox pundits attack Trump over Helsinki last week? Republicans have been less loyal to Trump than Democrats were to Obama. When did Nancy Pelosi ever publicly disagree with Obama?

"No way are Republicans giving up their power, and even if most of them can't stand the toddler-in-charge, they will never cross him and will always support him and the nonsense he twits when push comes to shove."

First, Republicans wouldn't have to give up their power if they impeached Trump. Even if they impeached Trump and Pence, Ryan would be the next President. Keeping a treasonous Trump in office doesn't help Republicans. They'd dump him to save themselves.

Second, the Helsinki fallout proves that they do "cross him" and they don't "always support him."
