Parents - see msg

I think the parents may be part of the problem. No child should use the TV as a long-term babysitter. That tells me right there that they're not engaging their child to interact with humans. They should be talking to the child, playing with the child, smiling at the child...it's no wonder this kid is not normal.

So, if there is an underlying autism, I'm wondering if the parents aren't making it worse. Did they EVER talk to this kid, even when he was a baby? Interaction with parents is extremely important and children don't develop properly without it. I also often wonder if autism is over-diagnosed.
