What "trickle down bunk" looks like - sm

Posted: Dec 25th, 2017 - 1:27 am

Some examples of trickle down not working.

* AT&T gives $200 million in bonuses, 200,000 get $1000.
* Boeing announces $300 million of investments in employee programs.
* Comcast promises $1,000 bonuses to 100,000 non-executive employees.

But these are just bonuses, one-time payouts. That's not really going to help anyone in the long run.

Wrong!

Companies have started raising their corporate minimum wage to $15/hr. Google Wells Fargo and Ocean First Financial for details.

Isn't that funny? Dems try to force all employers to pay $15/hr and fail. Pubs pass a tax cut and companies voluntarily start paying $15/hr and investing in their employees. Which solution is more workable? Which solution makes the US more competitive? Which solution actually got large groups of people to $15/hr?
