In the course of the great improvement of the economy under Obama (his budget was in effect until 2 months ago, I believe, in October) and the 75 straight months of job growth under Obama, it is only fitting that companies have to raise their wages.
In this area, fast food is starting at $10.50 to $11.00 per hour, retail is at $12.00-13.00 per hour and any other business that has more responsible positions is already at $15.00 per hour. Wells Fargo is doing nothing that they did not absolutely have to do to hire workers. More baby boomers are retiring every day. There is going to be a labor shortage.
