Thankfully she is medically improving and they are anticipating moving her to a psych facility early next week. She is emotionally feeling better and realizing she does not want to die after all. I did check for a NAMI meeting but the closest location is over 2 hours drive for me so that won't work. I can't afford going to a counselor to work through my thoughts and emotions. Money is very tight and with my having to take off work with no pay during the crisis days with her and using all of my PTO and taking unpaid time off I will barely get the bills paid this month. I did buy Christmas gifts before this all happened. I am grateful she is alive. Once they find out what mental health facility she will go to I will be talking with them about how they will be handling Christmas if she isn't discharged, which I've been told to expect her to be somewhere 7-10 days minimum due to the severity of her attempt. My main focus is figuring out how to get her the help she needs and I have no idea where we'll get the money to pay for it all as insurance copays and deductibles are going up next year. I'll probably have to take a 2nd job. We'll see. I know we'll get through this, it's just hard especially with it being a time of year that is supposed to be joyous.
