My heart aches for you and your daughter. Thank God she was saved in time.
There will always be people who aren't sensitive to the suffering of others, no matter what the issue. Ignore them. I would, however, urge you to seek spiritual and emotional support from your church.
I know you're disappointed that she cannot be with you THIS Christmas, but think of the years of Christmases you will have with her in the future because she is alive and being helped now. I'm praying for both of you.
